The 7125 is 125 Watts RMS into 7 channels - All 7 channels driven

Dynamic Power of the 7125 in Ohms, All 7 channels driven is 190 watts and with 2 channels driven, 200 watts.

Yes having dynamic power does help an amp respond to transients with minimal distortion, however, the number of watts of dynamic power between one amp and another is based on several things inherent in the design.

The 7 channels on the 7125 are not bridgeable, so if you don't need at least 5 channels, it may not be the best choice for you.
