7500 remote trigger

7500 remote trigger - 02/16/15 05:54 PM

My green power light stays on even after I turn my 975 off. They are connected by a 3.5mm mono cable. Is it ok for the power light to stay on even after it supposedly is turned off through the remote trigger?

Thanks

The light on the 7500 should go off when shutdown via the trigger. The 975 power light glows dimly when shutdown and brightly when turned on. Both lights are blue.

I just watched my 7500 and the blue light goes off and is replaced with a dimly lit reddish orange standby light.

^^^ That is what mine does too. When the 975 unit is on, the 7500 light glows greenish. When I turn off the 975 the 7500 button glows more of a light dull orange. I can hear a relay inside click, so that is good.

Yes, that is the way it is designed. As long as the power switch on the back is on and the 7500 is plugged in the light will glow orangish. When the 7500 is activated by the 975 it will click and then about 30 seconds later the blue light comes on.
