SACD and BASS - 09/27/02 07:30 PM

I am trying a Sony NS900V.I thought SACD would be very pleasing to my ears.Certain tracts are but not all.I am very impressed with DSD and I am not sure digitaless 5.1 is ever going to sound good.I am using an Outlaw 1050 with a M&k sub, theil towers and M&ks for rear. Can the the outlaw ICMB really make SACD worthwhile?

It depends on what your issues are. It can certainly help if bass management is your problem, but won't do much good if used with a 950. It is a good analog bass management solution for the 1050, though. What is it about certain tracks that are not pleasing?

With so few samples,it has been hard to determine.......after further listenings and comparisons,I feel I cannot comment on SACD.The Sony 900 DVD player sucks, however the hybrid SACDs sound supperior on when played on my Rotel 965 and in my car........
so I conclude DSD is the improvement I hear and I need a better DVD/SACD player
