1050 and turntable

1050 and turntable - 05/06/14 04:50 PM

I read an article that the 1050 does pretty good as a 2 channel only amp. I don't see any phono hook up with it or a phono ground.

Anyone using and old turntable with a 1050? Can it be done?

I think you would need a separate phono preamp.

I looked at phono pre amps and found a wide range of prices. From 25.00 to 2,000.

I'm scratching my head thinking they can only make it sound so good.

Hagerman Bugle http://www.hagtech.com/bugle.html got decent reviews.

WHy would someone spend more on a phono preamp than the cost of an entire amp that comes with one?

The limiting factor is the record itself.

Sorry, it does not have that feature.
