Rotel rcd 855

Anyone know where I can get a Rotel rcd 855 repaired? I just bought the rr2150 it is awesome. Now my cd player is crapping out. I am using Studio 2 pi speakers. Sugestions for a replacement cd player would be great if it is not repairable.

If you need a new player, good luck ...... there are so many it makes your head spin. I know you ask about player recommendations in all sincerity, but doing so is a bit like asking for something good to eat . Everyone is different and has wildly varying tastes.

My take on cd players is you don't need to spend too much to get a good sounding one. More money may buy better parts and all, but in a blind test I doubt 99.5% of us could not tell a difference between an $200 Oppo cd/dvd and a $1000 whatever brand cd player .

For a instance, the Marantz CD-5001 is a perfectly fine player for $300 .

This old thread is one of several that kicked around ideas for CD players. I'm using an OPPO 980H with my RR2150 and have been pretty darn pleased.
