AC fuse on RR2150 - 03/02/06 12:47 PM

Hello All,

Friend who does part time job as review writer for HiFi magazine in EU mentioned Outlaw and Stereophile review when I told him that I’m looking for amplifier/receiver, something that fits my budget but provides nice sound. I find that RR2150 fits very nice my needs and the only thing that concerns me is location of AC fuse. From the manual “The fuse is located inside the chassis and is not user-service-able. If power does not come on, contact your authorized service station.” Accessible fuse would be nice.

This is my only objection to otherwise nice design. Are there any plans for changing location of the fuse in future revisions?

I apologize if question was posted/discussed before, and would appreciate topic title in this case.

Thank you.

This hasn't been discussed before, and I haven't heard any talk about changing the fuse location. You might give Outlaw a call and find out what is involved in a fuse replacement - it may be something that a local shop could do readily if the fuse ever blew.

I just ordered a RR2150 and having accessible fuse would be alot better.
