Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the 7200? I am curious as to how similar it looks to the ATI-1807.

Thanks,
Steve

The closest that I know of would be either the pictures of the 7500 found here or older pictures of the 770 found here .

sehnzeleid - Thanks for the pictures. I purchased a used ATI 1807 (couldn't get my act together quick enough to make the Outlaw purchase during the October sale). It sure looks like the ATI 1807 and Outlaw 7200 are nearly the same units (except for the cosmetics). The ATI has lower output (180w vs 200w for the Outlaw), but the ATI has lower THD ratings... appears that they would be the same amp with identical spec ratings.

Thanks again,
Steve

I don't know if it's currently the case, but I believe at least for awhile ATI was the OEM supplier to Outlaw for amps.

ATI has always and still does build Outlaw's multichannel amps. My understanding has always been that the Outlaw amps aren't re-badged ATI amps, but obviously there are going to be a fair number of similarities to benefit from economy of scale even when doing separate designs.

It sure would be a nice treat to see the inside photo of the 7200. I own a model 770, and was surprised to learn that the 7200 has one torroidal transformer instead of two.

This is a subject which comes up all the time. There are some pictures of the 7125 and the 7500 and 2200 posted on Gonks profile. If you find one of his posts just clicks the Pics option and you can see internals of those amps. Maybe Outlaw Nancy could post pictures of each amp on its page or in a common area so we could easily compare them. Or then again maybe it is proprietary info they don't want to display.
