Will a 3.5mm stereo cable work in place of a mono cable to trigger the M2200 ? Can't seem to find the mono cables anywhere.

Probably will. The only potential problem I see is if the two units have different length spring tabs for the ground return and one ends up on the ring and the other on the shield. Risk of damaging the units is pretty low (it would be an open circuit, not a short) so personally I wouldn't be afraid to try it. Just don't use a mono where a sterero is required or you WILL short something out.

Won't work. tried several in the past and they don't have the right lans and grooves. Go to Radioshack and get one.
