The remote in my documentation and the one that came with the package are not the same.

My remote does not seem to accept the codes using the directions.

1. Press a button you want to control ie. DVD
2. Hold the setup button
3. Let go of setup - it will blink twice
4. then press 3 (if setting up a cd player)
5. Then type in the code ie 0227

It never blinks twice to let you know it accepted the code.

Can someone give me a step by step on how to program it using say 0227 for a cd code.

I'm doing something wrong.

Yes, we are shipping a "newer remote" style with the RR2150's now.

There are instructions for the new remote included. These are NOT in the manual.
