It's quite handsome - a nice match with the 2150's unique faceplate design.
Cooling is not an issue. My experience is that the unit really does not get too warm. The shell does not touch the top, so air can vent throughout the whole top. Plus, the bottom is vented (before anyone comments...I know heat rises).
My first thought was that having a few more slots might now hurt, but I am not surprised that it's getting good ventilation through those slots. As for the heat rising thing, radiators also need to draw cool air in from below in order to have some air to reject heat
to, so you are correct that those bottom vents really are important.
