Just my thoughts - I'd have a 2150 on order right now if:

...the 2150 had digital input(s) (heck it has a USB input, so theres a DAC in there, I'm guessing the DAC is on the same chip w/ the USB chip, and thats why there is no digi input??)

...the 2150 had a clock and alarm clock functionality!

yeah,i think it would have been a good idea to throw in a couple digital inputs,too.like you said,it does have a dac in it.

i don't think it's much more to ask than the front panel analog input.

Based on some information from Scott in another thread, the DAC is integral to the USB input, presumably making it unavailable for use with other digital inputs. I'm guessing they'd have to add a separate DAC for other digital sources, with associated increase in cost.
