Still 2-3 months from moving in...But the buying frenzy is heating up...
Took my (boxed) 770/950 combo and (2) new LFM-1(s) over to a friends HT and hooked those suckers up.....Big mistake..
A 13x17' dedicated HT is TOO SMALL for 2 subs.
If you don't think so-contact Dr Adams for a full report on the physical state of my hearing loss! My teeth are still rattling!
Next up are the M&K 150's, 7.1...Wait till my buddy sees me heading up his driveway next month!

Thanks for the warning but...

I know your post was somewhat tongue in cheek (or is that teeth?), however a 13 X 17 room should be just fine as a home theatre. I'm running four subs (and much more power than a 770) in a slightly smaller room and, while I'm planning on buidling a bigger room in the near future (mostly to increase the seating capacity), there is no problem with the room, accoustics-wise.

Like all good things, moderation is advised. If I wished to impair my hearing (and other bodily functions - and the neighbours' two blocks over!) I probably could.

Regards.
