Gonk, where are you.

I have just hooked up my Polk Audio FXi5 side surrounds. I know that I should set them to small, but what do I set the crossover point on the 950 to. This is a quick link to the specs on the speaker if you need them.http://www.polkaudio.com/home/specs.php?category=6&speaker=354

Thank you for your help.

Well I'm not Gonk, but why don't you start at 80. Are you listening to surround music, movies, both? If you are into audio dvd's I would experiment with 80 or 100 crossovers,if neither sound right to you, go ahead and try 60; it can't hurt.

thank you for your reply. I am about 90% movies and 10% music. I have it at the default setting of 100.

The -3dB point for these speakers is listed as 55Hz, so Alejate's right on target - I'd start at 80Hz and might experiment a little with 60Hz and 100Hz.
